From the very first moment, Novecento represents an invitation in every sense. An evocation of a different era, when afternoons drifted by and time passed by more slowly. Like something from an Italian palace, Novecento rejects ornamentation as it conveys the very essence of romance in the minimum number of elements.

Conceived by Vicente Soto from a naturalist perspective, based on classical lines, this chair provides an attractive reflection of the many possibilities offered by polypropylene, already seen in earlier models such as the Regata. The result is a surprising design, an astonishing balance between the solemn and the familiar. The restrained use of curves gives it an almost monastic air, bringing to mind the gardens of the Novecento, striking up a passionate dialogue as a way of understanding a very contemporary 21st Century synthesis.
