Liven up dull linens with a touch of trim. Select buttons, beads, ribbons, and other stylish fabrics and trims to match your style or mood.
 

You will need:
- Ribbon Trim
- Plain sheets and/or pillowcases
- Fabric tape measure
- Several widths of decorative ribbon in three coordinating styles or colours. Sewing machine (or you can hand sew if you prefer)

Here's how:
1. Measure width of top sheet. Cut three desired ribbons 2cm wider than the sheet.

2. Sew widest ribbon 8-10cm from top edge of sheet, leaving 1cm excess ribbon at each end.

3. Sew thinnest ribbon onto centre of widest ribbon and a third ribbon 1cm from top edge of sheet.

4. Turn ribbon ends under 1cm and sew to underside of sheet.

5. Repeat steps to create pillowcases, cutting ribbons to decorate both sides of the case.
