This quick and easy ottoman will have your seating sorted, and will be handy for other purposes as well!
 

You will need:
- 2m of fabric
- 40cm high density foam block
- Sewing machine and thread to match
- 1.35m continuous zip

Here's how:
1. Cut 2 lengths of fabric 43 x 132cm. Take one piece of fabric and fold the 132cm edge under 15mm; press; pin the zip to this edge. Sew in place.

2. Join the other side of the zip to piece 2 of the fabric. Turn edges under 15mm - see diagram right - pin in place; stitch in place.

3. With right sides facing, pin remaining edges to create the cube. Fold under 15mm seam allowance and stitch in place.

4. Undo zip and turn right side out. Slide over foam cube and close.

You now have a cover that is easily removed for washing - be sure that you use a washable fabric!
