These affordable galvanized buckets have been painted in attractive colours and are great for carrying around toys - even outdoors!






You will need:
- Metal buckets
- Small paintbrushes
- Spray Primer (suitable for metal)
- Gloss enamel: yellow - red - royal blue - green - white

Here's how:
Find metal buckets around the house or buy new buckets from your local hardware store or by the side of the road.

1. For painting on metal, especially when being used outdoors - you will need to prime before you start.

2. Paint the base of each bucket with the main colour. We used yellow, green and red.Allow to dry and re-coat if necessary. Allow drying times as specified by the manufacturrer.

3. Paint designs using a small paintbrush with the remaining colours listed. Use our designs as a guide or make your own.

You can fill with toys or use in the sandpit, or to store your own special gardening set.
