Take a peak inside Pamela Kline's beautiful home on Prince Edward Island.
Beach House
"I love the look of weathered shingles," Pamela says of her home's cedar shakes that fade to gray.
Dining Room
When meals aren't served outside, the family pulls up reproduction Windsor chairs to this scrubbed-pine table. Tom and Pamela won the framed antique fishing lures at an auction in Maine.
Bedroom
A mixture of toile and ticking linens, all from Traditions, softens a wrought-iron bed. "Patterns don't have to match — they just need to be pleasing," Pamela says.
Reading Nook
The second-floor sitting room provides the consummate rainy-day reading nook. Pamela found the Victorian daybed at a local yard sale and outfitted it with linens from Traditions, her 35-year-old textile company. Her mother, Wanda Boyce, painted the seascape.
White Sitting Area
A pillow (silk-screened with the home's latitude and longitude coordinates) rests on a Genesee River Trading Company armchair; Pamela bought the reclaimed-wood picture frame from Laville, a Louisiana design company that specializes in architectural salvage.
Porch
Gavin sorts through his collected seashells as his mother, Shari, looks on. Both the table and the hickory bentwood chairs came from Genesee River Trading Company.
