Blue & Wood Bedroom

The daybed is dressed in mattress ticking and a toile with the palest blue matelasse, all set against gray-blue walls, causing the white woodwork to pop.



Blue-Green Bedroom

Deep blue-green walls are offset by chocolate brown bedding and a rich wood dresser and ladder.



Small Bedroom

Sunny yellow paint and an exuberant green-and-white print enlivens this small space. Bookshelves were custom-built by a contractor to take advantage of the seemingly unusable three-foot-high gap on each side of the room created by the low-pitched roof.



Soft Neutrals

Its plump pillows in blossom pink and bisque linen, and cushion in feather-toned linen, reinforce the same hues in the crisp printed sheets and vintage floral duvet cover. To further unite the chair and the bed linens, a framed image of a nest hangs over the bedside table.



White & Wood Bedroom

This rustic room was converted from three smaller bedrooms into a spacious master suite. The windows were placed high on the wall to allow room for an outdoor shed. An upholstered back and wings were added to a ladder-back chair to form this unusual yet charming hybrid. An iron bed frame, vintage chest, and exposed wood beams and floors all add to the feel of a log cabin retreat.
