Cookie Tin

Drill a hole in the lid and hide the clockworks inside the container. Then attach a picture hanger to the back of the tin with superglue.




Fabric

Add iron-on interfacing to the back of the cloth (to prevent fraying), then stretch and staple it over an artist's canvas. Don't cut a hole for the clockworks until the fabric's in place.




Straw Hat

Slice an opening into an old topper to attach the mechanism - and hang your hat from a nail.




Children's Books

Make a classic come to life by drilling through both the front and back covers. Prop on a shelf, or add a picture hanger to the back with superglue.




Vintage Photo

You'll need two tools for this one: a craft knife to cut a small hole in the picture and a drill to get through the frame's back.
